Products using DisplayLink technology will get their device drivers either from OEM pre-installation or from Windows Update for supported Windows 10 S platforms. This driver includes support for the USB video and audio and Ethernet drivers for the DisplayLink chip used in devices. After you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, if your VisionTek USB Drivers are not working, you can fix the problem by updating the drivers. It is possible that your USB driver is not compatible with the newer version of Windows.

Troubleshooting does nothing. We need a source for the driver so we can reinstall it, or a fix via Windows Updates.

I have Windows 10 from a clean install and everything worked fine until yesterday's updates were applied and I rebooted. After reboot, the same happened to me except its only on SOME ports, not all. I un-installed and re-installed. No fix. Ran updater, says latest driver already installed. Its not a manufacturer driver, guys here at Microsoft. The information about the driver says its a MICROSOFT driver. Please make a link to this driver so we can download, uninstall and reinstall a FRESH driver.

Having a similar issue, can report (in my Windows Ten) that 'Universalbus Controllers' doesn't exist, however I do have 'Universal Serial Bus controllers'.
Under 'universal serial bus controllers' there is no mention of a device labeled 'Universal Bus Controllers'.
So for me, that solution is obviously null.
Just out of curiosity, how can reinstalling a display driver possibly affect USB functionality?

Hi,
Thank you for posting your response. I apologize for the mistake.
To rectify, I would state that you need to locate and expand 'Universal Serial Bus Controller' and install the latest Windows 10 drivers for the USB drives.
Regards
